Colorado Wins with Amendment 50

To encourage voters to approve a measure that would provide new revenue to Colorado’s community colleges without a tax increase, Walt Klein Advertising helped develop a positive messaging strategy in what was a negative election season. Ongoing research feedback was used to develop and refine the brand messaging across all communication platforms. And, through integrated media efforts, local support was encouraged by using customized broadcast messaging targeted to 13 different regions, local newspaper ads, and targeted direct mail. Colorado voters passed the measure with a 59 percent “Yes” vote.
